Gordon Roqué Unveils The Globe Sessions Preview!!

Today, Gordon Roqué has officially released the preview for his brand new creative project, The Globe Sessions.

Described by Roqué as a visual performance art project, The Globe Sessions will deliver a more complete vision of his work.  It will feature original music performed live and interspersed with little poetic vignettes.  Intended for an international audience, these performances are Gordon's latest offering to the world.

These sessions will lead into Roque's Indiegogo fundraising campaign that will launch on March 1.

Gordon's Blog "Where Pianos Roam" To Return in January 2012

It's been very quiet in the world of Gordon lately, but in 2012, he will use his voice again.  Speaking more eloquently.  Singing more strongly, with a little bit more passion in the timbre of his voice.

First of all, Gordon Roque will return to writing on his beloved blog Where Pianos Roam in January 2012. 

This time around, Gordon will be sharing more about what he is reading, watching, and doing in his daily life.  He will write about his views on the current state of music and popular culture as well as his own commentary on the upcoming US elections for President.  Topics involving Gay Rights and the Environment will also be explored.  As his schedule permits, there will be at least one to three posts per week.

Expect to see the first post on New Year's Day, January 1,  2012.

This marks the beginning of a full year of creative pursuits and performances. 

In due time, Gordon will be silent no more.

Gordon's Blog "Where Pianos Roam" To Go On Hiatus Until 2012

This Sunday, September 11, 2011, Gordon Roque will be putting in one last post at his blog Where Pianos Roam for this year.  He will be back on a regular blogging schedule as soon as time permits. 

Until then, there are other projects that he needs to focus on and finish before the end of the year.  All will be explained in the final post.  It won't be a goodbye, just a "see you later".

Last Day To Help To Donate Funds for Gordon's Next Album!!

Gordon's August fundraising campaign is reaching it's end today on August 31st!  It's not too late to help him record and promote his next full album of music. 

 

The fundraising goal is $2,000, and this will go a very long way towards getting his new music out.  The next album will be an effusive, drum-laden, and lively affair.  As he has promised, if he reaches his goal, he will record a dance song and film a dance video for all the world to see. 

So let's make Gordon dance!!!!!

That's right!!  Finally, Gordon's art store Tropical Shade of Green has been re-launched.  It has been re-vamped to showcase brand new art over the next few months.  All proceeds go towards the production and promotion of his next album of music "The Gardener". This launch is part of Gordon's August fundraising campaign to raise $2,000.

Okay folks!!!!  The time has come.  Serious work will now be underway to record Gordon Roque's next album "The Gardener".  Gordon's birthday happens in August and what better way to celebrate then to help him record his next album of music.  This time around, he means business!!!!!

Gordon Roqué To Announce August Fundraising Campaign This Week!!

  
Work on Gordon Roque's brand new album will be heavily underway very soon.  This week, he will announce an aggressive fundraising campaign that will take place during the month of August and through his birthday on August 28. 

A formal announcement will be made in a couple of days detailing all that will be involved in this multi-faceted effort.  Roqué says that he will be drawing on his experiences from recording his first album as well as from the many shows he has mounted along the way to bring forth a fresh, effusive, and lively offering of new music. 

All will be unveiled momentarily .  .  .

What's Gordon Up To Lately?

Gordon Roqué is up to a few things lately, and we wanted to give everyone a quick update. 

On Saturday, August 6, he will be the featured performer at the Lammas Cotillion here in Nashville, TN. 

Work is also continuing on his latest album "The Gardener" with early demos being recorded and arrangements being hashed out.  Fundraisers for the album will start in August.  More plans on this will be announced soon. 

There is also news on Gordon's side project, The Adventures of Oreo and Buttercup.  A new episode with new characters is in the works and will be unveiled in the next couple of weeks.

New shows for the fall are also being planned and will be announced shortly.
